I have a G-Drive mini HDD since 2010. Beautiful and reliable but unfortunatly Apple abandoned the beautiful Firewire 800 so now I'm stuck with a weak USB 2.0. I'll still use it though, together with a G Drive SSD R series and maybe this one. Who knows. I'd just wish my Mac had more than two USB 3.0 ports.

Hey, what length is the cable for this thing? Most Hard drives I buy have really short cables but I'm looking for one with a longer reach. Great review btw.

Am used it for my class it’s for Telecommunications Studio and I have a Lot Of paperwork for my college class make more easy for my Documents for it like driving in in Car pool line I don’t want to used my Main storage for my IMac pro it’s The G-Technology, four TB C-Drive USB and G-Drive

Hi and thanks for the video! I was wondering if you could help… I have the exact same drive but when I plug it in and connect it to my mac, there's a message that says "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer."… I have the option to "initialize", "ignore" or "eject". Any idea what needs to be done? It's never been used before and completely new.
Hi! I’m using a Seagate but I have to install a driver to make it compatible for my MacMini. Does the G-tech requires a driver to use it for the Mac? How do you like it so far?

PLEASE HELP! Does any body know a proper way to format this drive for Windows 10? I followed step by step and drive still now showing on my PC only shows up on the Disk Management menu but can't access? Please HELP!!!!!

Thank you so much. I was having a terrible time finding exactly the right hard drive, and your video has been a tremendous help. So many of the problems I have faced with far too many other hard drives are TOTALLY ABSENT in your unboxing, and the great way that the G-Technology is ready right out of the box.
