Locks like these laptop locks from LogiLink can be decoded easily by pushing the button and feeling a change of resistance on the wheels. Here I'm using the indirect methods for a quick and reliable success.
As a hobby, I try to learn to pick different locks for fun. I'm quite good at certain locks, but for the 1st time I actually need to pick 1 like this (cheap no name) and the gates feel all over the place. I'll keep at it, but I may end up cutting it apart. Locked to a laptop currently.
Did everything, but doesn't work, why?
Still cant do mine, mecer😔
lol I'm pretty sure it's just me that's bad at it but this doesn't seem to work. Just ended up with sore fingers 😪
You can actually apply force to open it by twisting the combination dial.
This are the cheapest but worst laptop lock designs ever made! It's easy to open without code in just 15-80 secs.
As you can see, it has only one latch that moves at the center when you press the button. You don't need to decode the lock just twist align with oval lock slot and pull from laptop.
I have this exact same lock and and I just can't open it with this method. 🙁
Did anyone try with hp lock?, i try this method, but still can't decode my lock
Thanks for your help, it works!
used this and it worked!!!!
Thank you
Helped! Thanks!
Hey! Does this method work with every lock? I have a computer lock by another company. Can I use the same method for that?

Nice vid, and decoding, I have one almost identical, I'll have to try it later when I feel better. Have a good day!
Very educational lesson.
Now I'm able to decode it myself.
Nice demonstration of the indirect method my friend 🙂
Good video. Thank you.
