I have a G-TECH ArmorATD Media and I have already been using it with my Mac, I just updated to the latest iOS and now its not reading it. how can I save what's on it somewhere else before I erase it to be able to use it with my Mac?

Can I partition a 12 TB raid (6 TB for system/docs, etc and 6 TB for Time Machine Backup)?
There are two 6 TB drives in the housing, but it shows as one 12 TB drive in the disk utility.
