Finance for Dummies | Corporate Finance – basic terms | Finance for Beginners finance for dummies

Does the word ‘finance’ scare you? Do not worry, you are not alone 🙂

Many people get demotivated from exploring the world of finance just by hearing the heavy terms used in this industry. So, I thought I should help out and try to simplify some key important terms.

In this video, I talk you through your startup journey (congrats, you are an entrepreneur!) and tell you what all terms you must be aware of.
0:00 You are an entrepreneur!
1. You have launched! 1:10
2. You are expanding 4:55
3. You are at the MASSIVE GROWTH stage! 6:50

Hope this clears some terms for you.
On part 2, I will talk about personal finance and what all terms you should know about!

If you want me to cover any particular topic, do comment below. I will definitely cover that in my future videos. 🙂

Hey! Great info.
I've recently started an NGO, does this mechanism works for NGOs as well?
If not, what could be the best way to get funding for the same.
Cheers!

Thank you so much Akshat for this wonderful video. I am Computer Science Engineering graduate and coming from a background of technology and having worked at Wells Fargo India as a UI developer, finance seemed to be like a grey area to me. Recently I started reading this book called Romancing the Balance Sheet by Anil Lamba and which gave me a good insight into understanding the Balance Sheet and I am still continuing reading the book as well since I had just started a few days back. Watching your video cleared many basic concepts. I am looking forward for more of your educational content. Also if you recommend me some similar books on finance. I have also ordered the Financial Affairs of the Common Man by the same author.
Once again thank you for your efforts!!
